Take me out to the ballgame II

Ever since Eric and Dan took Emilia and Nathan to the final Nationals home game last fall, Emilia has been asking when they are going back to see a baseball game. Finally, after the long winter, the guys were able to catch their first game of this season last week. Although the Nationals lost, the biggest disappointment for Emilia was the absence of fireworks at this game (no "homewuns" this time). At the last game, the team pulled off a walk-off grand slam - with lots of fireworks!

The next day when we picked Emilia up from preschool, we were told that the class had heard all about the game from Emilia, and that she had been singing Take Me Out to the Ballgame all day long. Her teacher said the song was stuck in all their heads. Sorry about that!
